Under Dr. Anand’s leadership, Sodexo received the prestigious 2012 Catalyst Award, ranked in the top 10 of DiversityInc’s Top 50 Companies for Diversity for 11 consecutive years and was named Global Sustainability Industry Leader in its sector for 14 years in a row by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index . Sodexo’s remarkable global culture change, led by D&I, is featured in a Harvard Business School case study, Shifting the Diversity Climate: the Sodexo Solution as well as profiled in several books on global diversity and inclusion.

She has developed web-based Tutor training programs that have increased sales and profits for her clients. Barb also developed a private labeled Career Portal – Happy Candidate. This resource helps candidates you will not hire or place, and greatly improves the candidates’ experience. Later this year she will launch new Tutors including Add Flexible Staffing, Add Direct Hire, and the Talent Acquisition Tutor.

Barb has also held many leadership roles including Chairman of the Board of NAPS, received Employment honors from both Illinois – The Lincoln Award and Indiana – The Ancil T. Brown Award. Heather R. Ettinger

Founder and CEO at Luma Wealth|Managing Partner at Fairport Wealth

A champion for women and girls for over 30 years, Heather Ettinger is widely recognized for her dedication to helping women build their financial acumen and philanthropic legacy, culminating in the founding of Luma Wealth Advisors in 2017. She specializes in helping clients align their resources around their family values to create impact in their communities.

Heather has a bestselling book entitled, Lumination: Shining a Light on A Woman’s Journey to Financial Wellness and co-authored two significant Women of Wealth studies, highlighting the individualized needs of women. She has been featured in many publications including The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s and Bloomberg and is a frequently-requested speaker for industry associations, women’s initiatives and wellness events. She was honored on InvestmentNews’ inaugural “Women to Watch” list in 2015. For conceiving new ideas and tools that have propelled the financial industry forward, she was recognized at “Icons and Innovators” by Investment News and proudly accepted The Ruth Bader Ginsburg award from the Women’s Vote Project for advancing the aspirations of women in 2019.

Heather remains an ardent supporter of her alma maters including Dartmouth College, where she earned a B.A., and Laurel School for girls, where she serves as an Emeritus Trustee. She has served on numerous non-profit and private company boards across a wide range of industries. Heather lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with her husband, Jeff, and considers raising their three children to be empathetic and giving adults to be her greatest and most rewarding accomplishment. In her free time, she can be found playing ice hockey, snow skiing and hiking.

Janine Firpo

Social Innovator and Author, Activate Your Money: Invest to Grow Your Wealth and Build a Better World

Janine Firpo is a seasoned values-aligned investor and social innovator, with a long history of working at the intersection of women and their money. From the early years of Apple Computer to senior positions with Hewlett-Packard, the World Bank, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Janine has always found herself making an impact. In 2017 she left a successful 35-year career in technology and international development to focus on how women can create a more just and equitable society through their financial investments. Her book, Activate Your Money: Invest to Grow Your Wealth and Build a Better World, was a collaborative effort with over 40 financial experts and a larger team of reviewers. It will be published in May by Wiley.

Janine walks her talk. She is taking action to move all her own assets into investments she feels good about and is watching them grow with market-rate returns. She is also a lead investor in Next Wave Impact, an impact fund designed to help more women become angel investors. And, she chairs the board of Zebras Unite, an organization that is developing the capital structures, community, and culture that non-unicorn start-up businesses need to thrive.

Alex Jung

Board Director, Investor and Strategic Advisor, former Partner and Head of Europe at Oak Hill Advisors

Alexandra Jung is a global business leader and investor with over 25 years in the investment management and financial services sector, including executive leadership roles based in London and New York for Oak Hill Advisors, Goldman Sachs and Greywolf Capital. In addition to her deep global financial markets experience, she has extensive board experience with expertise in driving strategic change, business transformation, M&A, financing and restructuring across a diverse set of sectors internationally.

Most recently Alexandra was a Partner and Head of European Investments at Oak Hill Advisors, In addition to global portfolio management responsibilities, Alexandra led the build out of the European business, serving as Chairman of European Oak Hill boards and management committees as well as serving on the Global Investment Strategy Committee, various fund Investment Committees and the firm’s Valuation Committee. Alexandra currently serves on the Board of NVR Inc. (NYSE:NVR) and serves on the Advisory Board of several private companies.

Alexandra has been an avid supporter of women investors and business owners. She was recognized by 100 Women in Finance as the recipient of the European Leadership Award and as one of 50 Leading Women in Hedge Funds by The Hedge Fund Journal.  She serves as a Trustee of Bucknell University. She is frequently quoted in Bloomberg and other financial press in addition to being a frequent speaker at industry leading conferences.  She holds an MBA from Kellogg and a B.A., cum laude, from Bucknell University. Andie Kramer

Partner & Founding Chair, Gender Diversity Committee

Andie has vigorously worked to remove discriminatory barriers to women’s career advancement for over 30 years. Despite her successful and demanding legal practice, Andie has helped thousands of women navigate both obvious and subtle gender-based obstacles to successful careers. Her keen insights into the nature and operation of gender bias and her pragmatic techniques for avoiding or overcoming these obstacles have made her a nationally recognized authority on gender discrimination, the nature and operation of stereotypes and biases, and practices and policies to increase women’s leadership opportunities. However, Andie believes strongly that gender is not the entire story. She has also focused her efforts on other workplace issues that hold women back in the workplace, including racial and ethnic biases, age biases, LGBTQ biases, and biases against mothers.

Andie is the co-author, with her husband, Al Harris, of Breaking Through Bias (Second Edition): Communication Techniques for Women to Succeed at Work (September 2020) and It’s Not You It’s the Workplace, Women’s Conflicts at Work and the Bias that Built It (August 2019). She is a co-author of the American Bar Association’s guide “What You Need to Know About Negotiating Compensation.” She has written hundreds of articles and blog posts, and she’s a Forbes contributor.

Rolddy Leyva

Vice President, Capital One, Global Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging

Rolddy Leyva is Head of Global Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging (DIB) for Capital One, a Fortune 100 company with nearly 50,000 associates serving millions of customers from offices in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, India and the Philippines.

As the head of DIB for Capital One, and in partnership with Human Resources and business leaders, Rolddy and his team are responsible for building and advancing the strategic direction, deployment and alignment of the company’s diversity, inclusion & belonging initiatives.

Rolddy’s DIB leadership journey includes over 20 years of DIB experience with Anheuser-Busch Companies, Sodexo and Capital One.

Born in Havana, Cuba, Rolddy immigrated to the United States in 1980 and currently resides in Washington, D.C. with his partner. Rolddy’s passion for DIB extends to his community involvement. He serves on the Board of Directors of Out & Equal Workplace Advocates – a global NGO advancing workplace awareness, equality, inclusion and belonging for LGBTQ+ people in the United States and around the world.

Kimber Maderazzo

Seasoned executive and experienced board member Kimber L. Maderazzo has been at the helm of pivotal initiatives, innovative growth strategies, and radical change within the Beauty, Cosmetics, and Health industry for more than 25 years.

Kimber transformed a $1B business into a more customer-oriented global enterprise in her operational role as EVP General Manager, Corporate Secretary of The Proactiv Company—a Nestlé Skin Health and Guthy-Renker joint venture. She delivered impressive performance gains, increasing annual revenue by $185M while slashing costs by $12M.

Prior to joining Guthy-Renker, Kimber gained valuable cross-functional and general management know-how and proved her ability to sharpen the competitive edge with Thibiant International, Inc.

An experienced Board Member, Kimber currently serves as the Chairman of the Board for C200 Women’s Executive Leadership Organization and the Executive Committee of Pepperdine University Board of Visitors.

In addition to Kimber’s passion for changing people’s lives through products that build confidence and self-esteem, she is also an enthusiastic people developer—of the talented teams she has led and within the community at large. Gerri Mason-Hall

VP Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging, NetApp

Gerri Mason Hall is a C-suite leader with more than 25 years’ experience in Diversity, Equity &  Inclusion. Her journey ranged from legal compliance, to human capital engagement, to  cultural and social transformation. In December 2020 she joined NetApp as its first VP  Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging. She is laser focused on accelerating NetApp’s growth and  culture shift. Since 2006 Gerri held a series of senior level roles at Sodexo, including CDO and  CHRO for the Americas, leveraging her employment law acumen with her passion for human  capital engagement and unshakeable belief that corporations can and will advance social  change. Gerri spent eight years at Amtrak, the US national passenger railroad. She was  instrumental in settling a class action lawsuit avoiding millions of dollars in protracted  litigation.

Augmenting her commitment to Inclusion and advancing the underserved, Gerri is a member  of the UNCF Board and sits on its Audit and HR Committees. She is a Boardmember of the  Congressional Hunger Center and the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation and provides pro bono D&I  counsel to a host of non-profit organizations. Gerri is a graduate of Vassar College and the George  Washington University National Law Center.

Michael Norris

CEO, North America Urban Adventures

An experienced global business leader, Michael Norris’ career has taken him all over the world. He has deep experience in enabling business transformation and is known for his passion of attracting top talent to deliver on breakthrough strategies.

He has leveraged his entrepreneurial energy to drive domestic and international business turnarounds with consistent profitable growth at Sony Retail Entertainment/Loew’s Cineplex Entertainment, Chili’s Grill & Bar Asia, and General Mills Restaurant Group.

Most recently, Mr. Norris held two positions at Sodexo, as a COO of Sodexo’s $10 Billion North American business, and as CEO of its $5 Billion Health Care Division. In his 10-year tenure, he and his team doubled the company’s top line revenue and tripled its bottom-line profits.

In his former position as President and CEO of Loew’s Cineplex Entertainment/Sony Retail Entertainment, Mr. Norris lead the turn-around of the financially troubled Loew’s Theatres. This led to the very successful $1.4 Billion sale to Bain Capital.

Michael’s previous experience includes being a Partner and CEO of Chili’s Grill and Bar Asia, a Master Franchiser of Brinker International, where he introduced Chili’s to the Pacific Rim.

Michael earned an MBA with emphasis in International Business from the University of East London, U.K. He serves on the board of Sodexo Magic, a company he started between Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Sodexo, and proudly serves on the board of the United Negro College Fund. With a lifelong passion for helping others he has served on the board of Variety the Children’s Charity, the Will Rogers Institute, World Affairs Council, and he is also the past President of the National Association of Theatre Owners. Michael is a co-author of the book Advancing a Jobs Driven Economy published by STEMconnector.

Pat Shea

President & CEO, Givful

Patricia Glaser Shea is a widely recognized leader in corporate, non-profit, and women’s advocacy circles.

As President/CEO of Givful, Shea is launching a technology start-up that raises money and engages volunteers for nonprofit organizations. Givful’s platform provides employers and their associates with the ability to create and support a culture of giving and drive community impact through the use of technology.

Shea changed the conversation around domestic violence and founded MEND, an initiative that recognizes the responsibility of men in reducing gender violence. She worked with legislators to strengthen domestic violence laws in Tennessee. She launched Girls Inc. and re-opened Dress for Success – Nashville.

In 2010, Shea founded the Nashville Chapter of Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO), an international organization of women business owners.

Shea holds a business degree from the University of Dayton and is a graduate of Leadership Nashville and Leadership Tennessee. She is a founding director of Studio Bank and BrainTrust; and a member of International Women’s Forum – Tennessee Chapter.

Shea has been named one of the Most Admired CEOs by the Nashville Business Journal and was recognized in 2017 as a Women of Influence/Trailblazer. She has twice been named a finalist for Tennessean of the Year. Her awards include the 2017 Human Relations Award and the 2017 ATHENA Leadership Award.
